JAMB UTME Subject Combination
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Art and Design under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Art and Design as a UTME candidate, you require: English Language,
Fine Art
Mathematics and any two of the following: History/Government
Chemistry/Physical Science,
Biology/Agricultural Science,
Literature in English,
Clothing and Textiles,
Religious Knowledge,
Economics/Commerce
Geography,
Home Economics
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for Art and Design as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: U.T.M.E.
(i) IBADAN-POLY requires credit pass in Nigerian Language and accepts Commerce, Economics. Also accepts a pass in Mathematics/English Language.
(ii) AUCHI-POLY accepts a pass in English Language.
(iii) IMTE offers it as Fine Arts.
(iv) KOGI-POLY offers it as Arts and Industrial Design.
(v) LASPOTECH requires credit in Art and Eng. Language.
(vi) NEKEDE-POLY requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three from History/Government, Literature in English, Clothing and Textiles, Chemistry/Physics, Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts.
(vii) RUGIPO requires five O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Fine Art/Visual Art/Technical Drawing and any three of History, Chemistry/Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Literature in English, Mathematics, Religious Knowledge Clothing and Textile, Economics, Geography, Commerce and Government.
(viii) MAPOLY accepts five credits in not more than two sittings or four credits at one sitting with a minimum of pass in English Language.
(ix) AUCHI-POLY requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects at a sitting. Six credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at two sittings as course requirements.
(x) AUCHI-POLY accepts any three subjects as UTME subjects.
