JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study History and Archeology under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:

History/Government, religious Studies and any two other subjects.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for History and Archeology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five ‘SSCE credit passes to include English Language and any one of Religious Studies, Economics and History.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) TASU – Literature in English is not compulsory.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for History and Archeology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts, Social Science or Science subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) TASU accepts NCE in relevant subjects or Bachelors Degree in any other course from recognized institutions.
