JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study French and International Studies under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:

French and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIOSUN requires Government or History plus any other Arts Subjects.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for French and International Studies as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus at least one other Arts subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIOSUN requires five SSCE credit passes or its equivalents in five (5) English Language, Government or History and any other three subjects.

(ii) UNIOSUN requires Government or History plus any other Arts Subjects.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for French and International Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes including French and one other Arts subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIOSUN requires ‘A’ level passes in French and Government or History and a and approved equivalents in relevant fields with at least a lower credit. The NCE are acceptable as A’ level equivalents.
