In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Arabic and Islamic Studies under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:

Arabic and Two subjects from Arts and/or Social Sciences.

(i) EKSU requires Art subjects

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Arabic and Islamic Studies as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Arabic and three other relevant subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) EKSU requires five O level credit to include English Language and other Art subjects and a pass in Mathematics at one sitting

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Arabic and Islamic Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (I) Two ‘A’ level passes in relevant subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) EKSU accepts two ‘A’ Level passes in Arabic/Islamic Studies and one Art subjects plus UTME requirements.
