Debutants Burundi are to miss out the services of forward Selemani Yamini Ndikumana who has been sent back home due to misconduct and breaking camp rules.

It was decided by the technical team of the Burundi national team commonly known as the Shallows and no replacement has been announced yet leaving the squad with 22 players.
According to the technical staff, the 32 years old striker was sent home because he “broke camp rules with gross indiscipline”.
“The decision to the return of this player was taken by the technical staff after misbehavior shown by this player, thus violating the rules of conduct and solidarity that the players and staff have agreed to defend the national colours from this day June 22,2019.” Reads part of the official statement .
