In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Animal Science and Range Management under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions listed above are:

Biology/Agric Science., Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Animal Science and Range Managementas a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in Agricultural Science/Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and any two other subjects and at least a pass in English Language and Physics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(I) MAUTY requires five credit to include Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Physics / Mathematics Geography/ Economics, English Language

(ii) FUNAAB – Same as in Animal Production and Health.

(iii) LAUTECH accepts Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agric Science, Physics and English Language.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Animal Science and Range Management as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUNAAB – Same as in Animal Production and Health.

(ii) MAUTY accept ND/HND with credit pass in Agriculture

(iii) LAUTECH requires ND with Upper Credit/HND/NCE at Credit Level in relevant subject, (Plus UTME requirement) may be considered for admission into 200 Level
