JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Islamic / Sharia Law under the Faculty of Law in the institutions listed above are:

Any three Arts or Social Science subjects including Arabic or Islamic Studies

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) ABU requires Arabic or Islamic Studies and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.

(ii) Any two Arts or Social Science subjects including Literature in English.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Islamic / Sharia Law as a UTME candidate, you require: Five ‘O’ level credit passes in Arts or Social Sciences to include English Language and Islamic Studies or Arabic.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) KSU requires five Credit passes at SSCE and or GCE O/Level in English Language. Literature in English and three other relevant Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subject

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Islamic / Sharia Law as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes to include Islamic Studies or Arabic.
