JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study International Studies and Diplomacy under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:

History/Government and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Science.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for International Studies and Diplomacy as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Geography, Government/History.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BIU requires five ‘O; level credit passes in English Language, Government/History, another Arts subject and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for International Studies and Diplomacy as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) Two ‘A’ level passes/NCE (Upper Credit) in History, Government and any other related subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIBEN requires two ‘A’ passes in GCE or HSC or their recognised equivalent in History/Government any other related subject: it accepts NCE Credit level pass in History, Government or Social Studies.
