In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study European and Nigerian Languages under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:
One Arts and two other subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) SAU requires French and any two Arts and Social Science subjects.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for European and Nigerian Languages as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes including English Language and Literature-in-English.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) SAU requires Five SSCE credit passes to include English language and French, plus at least one other Arts subject.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for European and Nigerian Languages as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature-in-English and any other Arts subject.
