In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Anthropology under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:
Any three of History, CRK/IRK, Geography, Economics, Literature in English and French.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Anthropology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include one of Government/History, Religious Studies, Geography and Economics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UI requires credit passes in English Language and any other three Arts subjects.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for Anthropology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Any two ‘A’ level passes in Arts subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UI accepts’ level passes in Geography, Economics, Government and Sociology.
